I would like to thank Prest for allowing me to read the news with him on Ep 5. It was good fun to record, as you can tell from the bloopers at the end after the song. I hope that I could be invited back sometime..........

This'll be my survey response as well as a normal comment.
Quite short today, understandably, hope all the exams and things go well. Can't say there was much news that really got me excited although I noted that both film mentions are sequels to films that should never, ever have sequels. Donnie Darko? Genius movie. A sequel is only going to damage that image by association. And Goonies? Well, that's just silly, it was a (admittedly very entertaining) product of its time and the only way to get something that'll remotely appeal to today's audience would be to remove all of the things that made it such a great film. In the Eighties.
I find it peversely amusing that people are campaigning to keep a TV show that hasn't even aired yet, just based on precendent. I mean, if that isn't a defeatest attitude I don't know what is!
Anyway, looking forward to next week's episode.
Um, locationwise I'm in Birmingham. I heard of the podcast through, well, you guys having "known" Tim for a few years from the Bristol con. And I listen to the podcast straight from the site, I don't bother downloading. Hope that helps.

Thanks Derek all the info is much appreciated. The Goonies thing was Danny playing silly buggers. I total agree a Donnie Darko sequel should never be even thought about especially since Richard Kelly has no involvement.

Hey Cornish SciFi Supplementers. This is Chris from the U.S. podcast Television Zombies. Preston has written to us a few times so I was curious to hear his new podcast. Some of the audio is slightly rough, but the comraderie is brilliant. It sounds like you guys are having fun, and that's what's most important. All the technical issues will work themselves out over time as you gain experience. I like what you're doing. What's the name of the song you use at the top of the show? I like it.

Wow Chris thanks for the nice comments. The audio is a pain in the ass as we us only one mic because we can't afford mixing board yet. The song is by my 15 year old cousin called Freedom. I didn't really have the time to hunt through podcast safe tracks on the net so i asked him knowing there would be no copyright issues. I can send you the full version if you want.
